Making a smaller footprint at school

Educating the 10 year old kids who I teach.  They are the future and the people who will be making policy decisions and potentially living with climate change in their lifetime.  We are encouraging our school to adopt challenges to reduce our school's carbon footprint like shutting off all the computers and reducing "phantom" power, trying to eat vegetarian a few times a month at lunch and snack, and using less paper products.  Following the Carbonrally webpage helps us use math to calculate exactly how much carbon we are reducing with each of our efforts, and allows for some friendly competition....
